I thought my speed-painted Stormcast Eternals were missing something.

They looked cool enough but needed a bit of flash. I still think they’re missing something but that’s probably all the work I want to do on them.

I decided to borrow an idea from the way I originally painted Stormcast before going to the speed-paint style.

The bases now have “lightning” streaks. I put quotes because I’m not sure how good I am at drawing lightning, but that’s what it’s supposed to be.

For anyone not in the know, the background of the Stormcast Eternals is they are flashed into war through lightning from their god, Sigmar.

Each one is a fallen warrior, snatched with lightning by Sigmar during the moment of death and reforged into something of a robotic defender of order.

I need to come up with a name for my Stormhost.
